Also in Valencia inform you that The fault of 41 meters already appears in the Town Hall square.

The artist Manolo García has needed this Saturday of the aid of more than 300 people, "all with much heart fallero", to raise "to the tombe" the centerpiece of 41 meters of height of the municipal fault. Two cranes held the structure with rope to ensure safety.

The plant has lasted more than two hours and has been planned for about a year. Marisa Falcó, a member of the artist's team, explained that "it was an illusion we had and in the end we found the best place to do it." To raise "to the tombe" a fault supposes to raise it of a single piece from the ground pulling with ropes. A method much more risky and spectacular than the usual planting piece by piece.

A member of Manolo García's team, a megaphone in hand, was carefully directing the operation. At their command the volunteers were pulling at one end while the workers were placing trestles holding the central wooden structure of about 3,800 kilos. Metro by meter have been gaining height until leaving the centerpiece of the municipal fault completely elevated.

Everything in this fault has been a challenge for the artist, "a dream that we have helped to realize", clarified Pere Fuset, mayor of Festive Culture of the City council of Valencia. Among the volunteers for the plantà of the municipal fault, the President of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, the vice president, Mónica Oltra and the mayor of Valencia, Joan Ribó "prepared with the gloves to pull strong" then emphasizing that "this is a Collective work, all on one hand and pulling in the same direction. "

The municipal fault, which this year has the motto "Valencia, Ca la Trava", has as its centerpiece the Telecommunications tower designed years ago by the architect Santiago Calatrava. A construction that never saw the light "by the difficulties that we find Valencians to do things" ensures the artist.
