To conclude the festivities, good news is announced for the Spanish community regarding rural tourism indices, in which Catalonia repeats for the seventh consecutive year as leader in the occupation ranking for the last night of the year, with 97 percent. In second place and with the same occupation percentage (97 percent) is Navarra, followed by Murcia, with 96 percent of occupancy for New Year. Comunidad Valenciana y Aragón, with 94 percent and 93 percent of rural accommodations occupied for these dates respectively, occupy the fourth and fifth place. Against these, Asturias and Galicia are the regions with the lowest occupancy for New Year's Eve, with 64 percent and 71 percent, respectively. According to Toprural, the data show that there is a remarkable increase in all the Spanish regions in terms of occupation, with the exception of La Rioja, which maintains the level of rural accommodation occupied with respect to last New Year's Eve (82 percent).
