Description
The purpose of this contract is the supply and installation of luminaires with LED technology, specifically in the Joncar, Ribera and Paseo Colón streets in the urban center of the beach of Pobla de Farnals, in accordance with the Technical Report, which has served as basis for the development of this contract and that should include: • Replacement of existing luminaires with luminaires with LED technology taking advantage of existing supports. • Orderly removal of the luminaires and management in recycling centers (in cases where the city council dismisses the usefulness of these equipment). • Testing and commissioning of the new luminaires.

Up to 30 municipalities of the Valencian Community will implement intelligent solutions in their lighting; A total of 30 municipalities with less than 20,000 inhabitants in the Valencian Community will be able to renew their street lighting and introduce intelligent solutions to improve their management and save up to 70% in energy consumption. The Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (Ivace) of the Generalitat Valenciana will allocate three million euros in the form of loans and grants to fund lost to finance 100% of the cost of the projects of these municipalities.

Among other measures, the implementation of light flow regulators and the switching on and off of the light points are financed, adapting them at night to the real lighting needs of the tracks. Thanks to this system, 45% of the energy consumed during the night can be saved.

The incorporation of astronomical clocks, adjusted to daylight hours, is also supported to reduce consumption. These astronomical clocks allow daily programming of lighting on and off according to the exact time of sunrise and sunset.

One thousand tons of CO2 less, the luminaries of the beneficiary municipalities will be replaced by luminaries of LED technology, with greater energy efficiency. According to Ivace, this renovation will allow an annual saving of 2.2 million kilowatts per hour, which will translate into an average economic year of 16,000 euros per year in each municipality. It is estimated that this reduction in energy consumption will prevent the emission of 1,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

The beneficiary villages will be Algorfa, Benissa, Callosa d'En Sarrià, Canet lo Roig, Catral, Dolores, Pedreguer, Pego, Vall de la Gallinera, Aín, L'Alcora, Artana, Atzeneta del Maestrat, Càlig, Daimús, San Miguel de Salinas, Sant Jordi, Albal, Alberic, Alfarp, Andilla, Bellreguard, Favara, Godella, Jarafuel, Montaverner, Piles, La Pobla de Farnals, Potries and Sant Joan de Moró. This line of incentives has the co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund (Feder) at a percentage of 50% through the Feder Operational Program of the Valencian Community.
