Green light to the controversial plan of improvement of the public lighting in the municipality of Ponteceso; it is budgeted at 6.5 million euros, to be distributed in the next 15 years. As pointed out last week the Councilor for Works of the Council of Ponteceso, José Manuel Pose Verdes, yesterday held the Facenda Economic Affairs Committee. On the agenda, the controversial plan to improve street lighting proposed by the local executive, budgeted at 6.5 million euros to be distributed in the next 15 years.

The initiative, as planned, went ahead thanks to the support of the PSOE, APIN-SON and BNG. The PP voted against. The executive defended his position to understand that this project will reduce the annual bill to the neighbors around 70%, in addition to improving obsolete facilities and, in some cases, defective, as most electrical panels, just as Pose criticized.

The version of the PP remains the same and it is not another that this plan will mean that "mortgages Veciños of Ponteceso us vindeiros 15 years, at the rate of 439,000 euros a year," said José Luis Fondo, who regretted that a proposal of this caliber "e with this orzamento is not light to full". In his opinion, Ponteceso has other priorities "such as access to or to the port of Corme e or arranxo of clues in the parishes".
